The Summary

The company Y is always a progreesive view on the use of  Information Technology.Infact the reason why they wanted the SAPI sytem is to be a help in solving on how to become more efficient and more effective in the future of their company. It was going to ensure the manufactured they needed , it was going to reduce their inventory and use its potential for planning their materials right the way through  the whole of the manufacturing process. It was also going to enable them to plan the utilization of their people much better. The obvious result that they are looking in using this resources are  more effective and more efficient way that will bring their unit cost down and that should make them more competitive. On the other hand they are able to bring more the business without having go to corporation and ask for more capital. Therefrore it will helps to solve the problems the company are facing. But they are going to have alot of training, training if done within the right groups, could do a deal to enhance the feeling ofr teamwork among the various departments. It is also the oportunity to bring about some more fundamental changes in some areas that they didn't even comtemplate right at the very beginning the system will depends upon the people, advantage of the system is that it's  got  a computer that's going to enable them to ensure the data that is accurate. They will be able to pull information out of the computer a lot easier than they get hold the information at the moment .B ut as the middle they encounter difficulty in forming their teamwork. Tere was a lot of anticipation and people were trying to be tolerant and the people began to say that the system is rubbish, and their patience has run out but the finger pointing is starting. They are biting each other. They are lack of self discipline. That the project has a several problems in gaining success. Especially the training and an appreciation  by the employees thta they don't do it in timely fashion they're cocking purchasing up. Another thing is the MIS that they don't have a humility. They can't accept that their opinion will not be the one to do it. They keep on insisting their own will that impact it will only leads to much problem.

Case Study

1. Purpose
  • To make the job easier.
  • To input all the information in the system.
  • It will support the business objectives of making chemicals.

Scope:
The use of the technology in company Y and to build the teamwork inside the employees and gain the objective successful.

Objectives :
  • To support the business in making chemicals for thier customers at high quality and low cost.
  • To do a lot of team building  and encourage teamwork.
  • To be a solution to their problems.

The information technology development established record for publishing quality research and influencing practice for business, is the first idea to be used by several company and  to have explicitly addressed global information technology issues and opportunities that are very useful in the fields of business. It publishes social and technical research on the effects of Information Technology (IT) on economic, social and human development. It is the fastest way to make the objectives of the company Y successful in producing the chemicals for their clients. It is also a great help to the employees to access the information easier.

2. The relationship of the IS and Organization  that it is useful for the organization to have IS, because it was going to ensure the manufacture needed  and it was going to reduce their inventory  another one is that it has the potential for planning their materials right the way through the whole of the manufacturing process. It was also going to enable  them to plan the utilization of their people much better. It also able to bring the organization to have more business without having to go to the corporation and ask for more capital . Therefore it helps to solve  a number of problems that the organization are facing with. It is expected to be a great help to them to finish their project on time. To make things easier for them to work and have enough time to cooperate on each other and do the job successfully.

3.The impact of the IS is that it has to do with the way they wanted to implement the company wide. It was going to have an effect on everyone within the company and it was going to give them an opportunity to do a lot of team building and to encourage team work, to focus people's attention on common objectives. Then it will helps the employees realize that the opportunity to bring more fundamental changes in some areas of the company that the didn't even contemplate right at the very beginning depends upon the people. And also enable them to ensure the data accurate. They will able to pull information out of the computer a lot easier than they can get hold of the information at the moment.

4. The machine response was very slow to start with , it 's still not particularly good at the moment, but that was a major stumbling material from the warehouse to the plants, that makes them complicated. In short the accuracy, well my opinion is that they really need to consult i.t expert to fix their system so that they can have a solution in the accuracy level. Another thing is that they have technical problems  that it does not work correctly the system never work on a technical basis it just wasn't capable of working the thing it would fall to a problem that can solve a lot of money. My opinion is that they must have a maintenance to be hired so that if the machine have technical problems it will fix on time so that they are not going to wait more time to have the machine work correctly.

5. My reflections about the ethical issues in the company is that in a gruop of employees that  assign in a particular job and is expected to do the job according to their aggreement, sometimes makes a wall in terms of working. Walls that they fell they are hired because they are needed, that mind thinking leads to the distruction of the objectives, because they don't love thier responsibility. I mean, as an employees you are highly require to do the job correctly but that job won't be a successful if you yourselself is not comfortable and force to do it, only  because it is part of your life. It should have a compassion and love of work like what happen in the company Y they lose teamwork which is very important  in their project. Teamwork means cooperation and trusting each other. It also include helping and giving what others need to be able to support the project and it leads to a successful one. Well, like what happen in the company everyone is working but they obey their own will which is not good. Sometimes our will is not good enough to make the plan successful. They don't have open minded ability. Like what happen in the MIS that their attitude is not good. Their attitude of they like doing what they like doing, even it will not gives a easier way to solve the problem they really insisted their wrong idea I think because of pride they can't accept that their opinion is not the one to obey. Lack of self discipline and everyone wants to be the leader. Tht's why it really don't go through the objectives, their behaviour leads them to troubles and make more problems, their project get affected. Another thing is that sometimes they actually delay the schedule of their assign job. They can't make the job to the expected date. But they are looking forward to finished their job on the deadline, they show that they got the materials on the day the materials released to them. THeir are people use the system for their own advantage. They are actually biting each other. That's why they can't go through the job because they don't have teamwork.

Nanotechnology (A great achievement or A greater demise)

Definition:Nanotechnology is the engineering of functional systems at the molecular scale. This covers both current work and concepts that are more advanced.

History!

Nanotechnology is a  scientific research,it's idea was created over long period of time.

According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nanotechnology "the  emergence of nanotechnology in the 1980s was caused by the convergence of experimental advances such as the invention of the scanning tunneling microscope in 1981 and the discovery of fullerenes in 1985, with the elucidation and popularization of a conceptual framework for the goals of nanotechnology beginning with the 1986 publication of the book Engines of Creation." It is developed by  k Eric Drexler later he united by Richard Feyman. And the Nano was an idea of Norio Taniguchi. It is said that "One nanometer (nm) is one billionth, or 10−9, of a meter. By comparison, typical carbon-carbon bond lengths, or the spacing between these atoms in a molecule, are in the range 0.12–0.15 nm, and a DNA double-helix has a diameter around 2 nm. On the other hand, the smallest cellular life-forms, the bacteria of the genus Mycoplasma, are around 200 nm in length. By convention, nanotechnology is taken as the scale range 1 to 100 nm following the definition used by the National Nanotechnology Initiative in the US. The lower limit is set by the size of atoms (hydrogen has the smallest atoms, which are approximately a quarter of a nm diameter) since nanotechnology must build its devices from atoms and molecules. The upper limit is more or less arbitrary but is around the size that phenomena not observed in larger structures start to become apparent and can be made use of in the nano device. These new phenomena make nanotechnology distinct from devices which are merely miniaturised versions of an equivalent macroscopic device; such devices are on a larger scale and come under the description of microtechnology."
